Our UNIKA developed a range of cables for special applications, focused specifically on moving goods in the most varied applications of production processes, industrial assembly or logistics.
The application of the cable can be determined by many variations such as temperature and climatic conditions, the installation environment, the dimensions of the products to move / lift and the type of movement of the industrial machinery: these and other variables determine the design of cables and very different materials.
The product range includes LIFT cables for connection to vertical lifting systems, and for the support of push-button panels for industrial bridge cranes; REEL cables, power and control cables for reeling applications and vertical applications; KU BASKET cables, designed for lifting systems such as hoists, self-lifting platforms and construction lifts; and finally the KU FESTOON, power and control cables designed for use in moving and continuous bending, for indoor or outdoor applications and high resistance to oils, chemicals and UV rays.
In addition, UNIKA has designed a series of cables for mining applications designed for use in harsh conditions (abrasion, drag, mechanical stress) on equipment for cargo handling.
Lastly, the KU (N) SSÖU cables with a wide range of applications depending on the type of construction: for submerged applications in dirty water, in mines, in humid environments; and the KU (N) SHTÖU and KU (N) SHTÖU VS, cables with high resistance to mechanical stress for cranes and container lifting systems.
